Bayside Babywearers

Considering the recent news and talk of "sling recalls" I wanted to provide some additional information here.
The slings that were recalled are two models of a specific brand - Infantino - which are widely available in various discount and big box type stores.
Even before the recent reported safety issues they were not slings that babywearing groups/advocates would have recommended strictly due to comfort and ease of use issues.

I updated our Resource guide to include information about several local shops and work at home moms that stock slings and carriers! Shop local!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  I have been reminded that this thursday - the 14th - the space we get to use at Grace church will be used by the Safe Harbor homeless shelter.  We will still have a meeting, it will be held at 10am at 205 N. Oak St.

We were able to work something out with the church and continue holding our meeting there on our current schedule!  We appreciate their willingness to work with us in the matter.

So the October schedule would be THIS Thursday, Oct 8th at 10am and Thursday Oct 22nd at 10am. 

Meetings are on hold for right now!  We will likely be changing locations and depending on where we end up we will likely end up changing days as well.  The first October meeting would have been this week, please spread the word!
